What is ChunkTrials?
ChunkTrials is a chunk-by-chunk island expansion gamemode. You start with a single chunk of land floating in a void world and build your island outward — one chunk at a time — by earning money, completing quests, and managing your territory.
How it works
Type /start to claim your first chunk. The server searches the void world for a good non-ocean terrain slice and drops you in. Every player gets their own isolated territory — no neighbours, no griefing.
Eight quest chains cover mining, combat, farming, fishing, building, and more. Complete them to earn in-game money, unlock chain bonuses, and progress your island level. Daily and weekly quests refresh automatically to keep things moving.
Stand on the edge of your island and type /unlock — or open the visual map with /map and click the chunk you want. Each unlock pulls real vanilla terrain from a private seed world — so every island is unique.
Apply chunk upgrades to boost crop yields, block explosions, or generate passive income. Build up your World Value score to climb the leaderboard. Reach 100 chunks and prestige to reset with a permanent bonus — and a server-wide announcement.
What's in the game
A skill tree with passive bonuses including chunk cost reductions and combat buffs. Island level perks unlock as you grow.
World Value ranks every island by the blocks and milestones it has earned. A Hall of Fame records the biggest achievements permanently.
Form a team to share chunk access and expand together. Open your island to visitors with full per-permission control over what they can do.
Invest money for hourly interest, earn passive income from Wealthy chunk upgrades, and complete challenges against other players for wagers.
Five upgrade types per chunk: Fertile, Fortified, Prosperous, Warded, and Wealthy — each changing how that slice of land behaves.
Hit 100 chunks and meet the requirements to prestige. Your island resets, your prestige star is earned, and the whole server is notified.
